Personyze’s content recommendation engine provides a variety of algorithms for different needs, throughout your site. Here is a list of the most commonly used algorithms which are included in our system.

Note: If there is no known interest when the visitor first arrives, Personyze will choose what to display based on crowd data; as soon as there is a known interest, it will take that into account according to the algorithm chosen.

Personyze will automatically exclude previously read articles.

• Most Read Based on Most Recent Interest
  

  This algorithm will show the articles which have had the most views, based on the current or last article viewed.

• Most Read Based on Mix of Interests
  

  This algorithm will show the articles which have had the most views, based on a combination of the visitor’s ranked interests.

• Visitors Who Read This Also Read These
  

  This algorithm will show articles that were also read by visitors who read the current article.

• Likely to Read Based on a Mix of Content Read and Commented
  

  This algorithm will show articles that have had the most engagement based on a combination of the visitor’s interactions with other content.

• Likely to Read and Buy, Based on Current Article
  

  For sites that use content to promote sales, this algorithm will show articles that have most often led to a sale, based on the current article’s interest.

  This algorithm will show the most engaged articles from the author of the current article.

• New Article Based on Your Interests
  

  This algorithm will show the visitor the most recently published articles from their ranked interests.

• Most Commented Content Based on Most Recent Interest
  

  This algorithm will show the visitor the most commented-on articles based on their most recent interest.
