Campaigns — How One Is Built, Tested and Launched

The wizard end to end, the channels a campaign can run on, and what to check before and after it goes live.

3 min read Updated 4 days ago

A campaign is the unit Personyze runs: an audience, some content, a place to show it, and a goal to judge it by.
Every channel — your own site, email, push, a mobile app — is the same campaign wearing a different face.

Two videos, short and long:

Create a campaign · 0:31
From the campaigns list to the editor, and the five steps.
A complete campaign · 2:13
Audience, content, and a check on the real page.

Building one

  • New campaign — where every campaign starts: a campaign type with every setting, or an idea built for your site.
  • Targeting and personalization — The wizard, step by step.
  • A/B testing — Two versions, a split, and a verdict you can trust.
  • AI Personalization — your own hero, message bar, pricing table and more, in words written for each visitor’s segment and approved by you.
  • Automation — Rules that watch your campaigns and act — pause, alert, promote a winner.
  • Landing pages — Host a whole page at its own URL, on Personyze or your own domain.
  • Playbooks — pick an idea in New campaign, finish its few steps, and Personyze creates the campaigns it takes, already wired to each other.
  • Goals — what counts as success. A campaign can have its own dedicated goal, which costs no slot and reports only here.
  • Tags — labels that make two hundred campaigns readable, and that scope dashboards.

Channels

  • Web browser — campaigns on your own site.
  • Email — recommendations and personalized blocks inside email, sent by you or by Personyze.
  • Web push — collecting subscribers and sending notifications.
  • Mobile apps — the same targeting inside an iOS or Android app.

What a campaign actually shows — the action types, the editors, the template gallery, and how often a visitor sees it — is Content & Design.

Before and after it goes live

  • QA & Launch — preview, audience forecast, safe publishing, and the four things to check when a campaign is not showing.
  • The campaign list — every campaign’s status, the next step on one with no numbers yet, Quick views, filters and the AI summary.
  • Campaign history — when each campaign went live or was taken off live, who changed it, and the bell that tells you.
  • Dashboards — Build a view scoped to this campaign, and have it emailed to you weekly.
A campaign left in testing reaches nobody but you. Testing & QA covers the
difference between preview, staging and published — it is the single most common reason a campaign
“does not work”.

Reading the numbers: Campaign performance: every campaign, or one on the Performance Metrics page explains every figure on this screen and how to read it.
