Personyze reports matches to TikTok over the Events API, from its own servers. TikTok builds a custom audience from website activity, and a lookalike from that.
What you need
| Field | Where to find it |
|---|---|
| Pixel code | TikTok Events Manager → your pixel |
| Access token | The same pixel → generate an access token |
Switch on Ad platform matching
One switch on the TikTok card captures what TikTok recognises people by: the browser id from the _ttp cookie, and the ttclid click id appended to your landing page when somebody taps a TikTok ad — the strongest signal TikTok has. Without it you reach only the visitors who gave you an email address.
Use a standard event name
Like Meta, TikTok only optimises for its own standard event names. Pick the matching one in TikTok event name on the action; your own name still goes to every other destination.
Building the audience and the lookalike
Events Manager for the event, then Audiences → custom audience from website activity, then Lookalike — the same shape as Meta.
