The panel has three places to look: the left menu (every screen of the site you are on), the top bar (search, reporting range, site, help, language) and the account menu behind your name (profile, billing, team, sign-out). At the end: where did it go?
The left menu
From the top, the menu holds:
| Entry | What is in it |
|---|---|
| Pinned | The pages you pinned — nothing until you pin one. See Pins and Recent campaigns. |
| Home | The account at a glance. |
| Campaigns | All campaigns, and your recent campaigns under it. See The campaign list. |
| Live visits | Who is on your site right now. See Live visits and Campaign activity. |
| Reviews & Surveys, Landing Pages, Meetings, AI Chat, Promotions | Each in the menu once your site uses it — see Sections that appear once your site uses them. |
| Automation | Rules that run without you — see Automation. |
| Analytics | Campaign performance, Campaign activity and Website traffic at the top, then the groups On-site campaigns, Off-site campaigns, A/B testing, Product analytics, Content analytics and Visitors. See Performance metrics. |
| Audiences | Discovered audiences, the people in them and your audience lists, on accounts with Audience Discovery. |
| Tracking Code | Here, at the top level, until your site has had visits in the last 14 days; after that it lives under Settings. |
| Integrations | Your integrations (what this account is connected to) and Marketplace (every app you can connect). See Integrations. |
| Settings | Content Placement, Visitor Attributes, Imported user data, Note types, Conversion Tracking, Site profile, Data & privacy, Recommendation setup and Email setup. |
| What’s next | Ideas for this account and features you have not tried. See What’s next. |
A report with nothing behind it yet is greyed out rather than missing, and its hover says why — for example No A/B tests yet. A team member with the Reporting role sees only Home, Live visits, Analytics and Audiences.
Sections that appear once your site uses them
Reviews & Surveys, Landing Pages, AI Chat and Promotions are in the menu while your site uses them: a campaign of their kind, or one of their actions in any campaign — a draft or a staging campaign counts — or, for Promotions, a coupon. Meetings is there once Meetings is switched on or has a meeting type.
To bring a section in before you use it:
- What’s next → Things to try lists the sections your site has and does not use yet. Its line opens the section’s own page, and the section stays in the menu while you are there; its first campaign keeps it for good.
- Settings → Site profile → Features → Your menu: switch the section on. “On: always in the menu. Off: in the menu while this site uses it.”
Coupons live inside Promotions and come and go with it.
Hide from the menu, and Undo
Automation, Audiences, What’s next and Inspire me (inside What’s next) can be taken out of the menu. Point at the entry and click the eye beside its name (“Hide <name> from the menu”). It goes at once, and the bottom of the menu says “<name> is hidden from the menu. Show it again any time from Settings › Site profile › Features.” with an Undo button.
- Nothing is switched off: a hidden entry keeps working, and its page still opens from its links.
- It is hidden for everybody on this site. Only the site’s owner can hide or show entries, so a team member’s login has no eye.
- Hidden entries stay one click away under What’s next → Hidden from your menu, and Site profile → Features → Your menu brings them back.
Pins and Recent campaigns
Pinned pages. Point at any entry inside a section and click the pin (Pin to the menu). The page becomes a row under Pinned at the very top of the menu. The menu holds up to six; the same pin, on the entry or on the pinned row, unpins it (Unpin from the menu).
Recent campaigns. Under Campaigns, the five campaigns you opened last, the most recent first. Pin a campaign there to keep it at the head of the list (up to five).
Pins and the recent list are kept in your browser: another computer, or a colleague, has their own.
What’s next
The lightbulb near the bottom of the menu; a dot means ideas are waiting.
| Part | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Inspire me | Personalization campaigns suggested from your own pages (Get a personalization plan for your site until you have one). See Inspire me. |
| For your account | The top three ideas for this account, and See all with the count. |
| Things to try | The sections your site has and has not used yet, the add-ons it does not have (Try it free where there is a trial), and Let visitors book a call with you for Meetings. |
| Hidden from your menu | Whatever this site took out of the menu, still one click away. |
| Ask Personyze what to do next | Opens the assistant with that question already sent. See the Personyze AI Agent. |
The collapsed menu and its panels
The menu starts collapsed: a narrow rail of icons. Point at an icon, tap it or reach it with the keyboard, and its section opens as a panel beside it. A clicked panel stays open until you click elsewhere, press Esc or open another section.
- Expand sidebar, at the bottom of the rail, opens the full menu with its labels; Collapse sidebar closes it again. Your browser remembers the choice.
- The button at the left of the top bar (Hide menu / Show menu) puts the menu away entirely, as the campaign editor does itself. On a phone it opens the menu as a drawer.
The top bar
| Control | What it does |
|---|---|
| Search (⌘K) | See Search. |
| Free trial · Upgrade | On the free plan only: opens the plans. |
| Reporting: | The date range every report on the screen uses (not shown where nothing uses it). |
| Website: | The site you are working on. Open it to switch sites (Find a site… searches them; each says whether you are its Owner or an Assistant), or to add a new site. |
| ? | Help & Support: open a support ticket and follow the conversation in the panel. See Help & Support. |
| The bell | Shows only when something is unread: a message from Personyze, or a reply to your support ticket. |
| Your name | The account menu. |
| The language chip (EN, DE…) | Panel language: the language of the panel, applied at once on every screen. Also in My profile. |
Search
Click the search box or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K anywhere in the panel, and type part of a name. Results are grouped: Tags, Campaigns, Actions, Placeholders, Goals, Session attributes and Integrations. ↑ ↓ move, Enter opens, Esc closes.
Add a new site
Website: → Add a new site. Each site you track carries its own plan: pick one under Select a plan for your new site, then enter its Site URL under Which site is this plan for? Nothing is charged until you have reviewed the cost on the next step. See Upgrade or downgrade your plan.
The account menu
Click your name at the top right. At its head: the account’s name, its domain and its Account ID, with a button to copy it — support may ask for it.
- User: My profile (your details, sign-in and security, Panel language, emails from us), Partner portal if you belong to a Personyze partner, and My site packages.
- Account: Billing & plan, Add-ons (with counts of what you have and what is in trial), Purchase history and Upgrade or downgrade plan — see Billing.
- Team members and Site profile (see Team members and Site profile settings), then Sign out.
Where plan and billing are handled by another platform — the Shopify app, for example — the Account group says so instead of listing the billing entries.
The bottom of the menu: Staging view and QA Simulator
- Staging view — puts your browser into staging mode, so you can preview campaigns saved to staging before they go live. Its label says · on or · off. Click it for Enter staging / Leave staging, and Or set IP manually with Use my IP. See Testing & QA.
- QA Simulator — your site with a QA panel beside it: any campaign’s targeting answered rule by rule, and actions fired by hand. See The QA Simulator.
- Help & Support — your support tickets.
