A Personyze account starts with a short wizard at personyze.com/signup. The Free plan needs no credit card, and every paid plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee. The rail on the left lists the steps and ticks each one off as you go.
The steps

The counter reads Step 1 of 4 on the Free plan, and of 5 when there is a payment step.
Choosing your features
Which features will you use? — “Beyond targeting and personalization, switch these on or off. You can change them anytime in account settings.”
- Each feature is a card you switch on or off, with Details for more about it.
- Personyze reads your site first and switches on what usually fits it: “We switched on what usually fits your site. Change anything you like — nothing is locked in.” The others are folded under Show n more features.
- The features decide which menu entries and campaign types the panel shows. Change them later under Site profile (the account menu) › Features.
Add-on trials: Include
Under the features, Add-on modules — “Extra monthly cost · free to try” — lists the add-ons you can try. Each card has its monthly price, how many days the trial is free, Details, and an Include box.
- Tick Include on the ones you want to try. Nothing starts on the tick: Continue saves your features, then starts one free trial for each add-on you ticked.
- Nothing is charged now. Skip them, and you can add any of them later under Add-ons.
- An add-on your plan already includes is ticked and locked as Included in your plan: there is no trial to start, because it is already yours. Audience Discovery is included in every plan.
- Details says what the add-on does and which plans include it free — Included free on …, or Included free on every plan.
- If a trial cannot start, the step names it: press Continue to try again, or untick it to go on without it.
With email campaigns switched on, the step also says how that email goes out: “To send through Personyze, include Email sending below – or connect your own sender later.” See The Email sending add-on.
A quick check that you are a person
Now and then, Create your account asks for one more thing: “One quick check that you’re a person, then we’ll create your account.” It is a Cloudflare check, shown only when a sign-up looks automated. Most people never see it.
- Pass it and the account is created; the wizard goes on at Step 2, Add your website.
- “That check didn’t go through. Please try it once more.” — do the check again.
- “The check could not load. Please reload the page and try again.” — reload the page.

After you sign up
The panel opens on Get set up: the tracking code, a reading of your site, and the first campaign ideas. Your plan’s add-ons are already on the account: the Add-ons page, in the account menu, names the plans that include each add-on, and marks the ones yours includes Included in your plan at no extra charge.
