The Rotating Announcement Bar is a slim top strip that cycles through up to five short messages, each with its own optional link. It auto-rotates on a timer with dot navigation, and you choose a fade or slide transition. Use it for shipping offers, sales, and quick announcements that share one small piece of screen. Placement is set in the action’s Location step.
When to use it
- Multiple promos in one bar — rotate free-shipping, a sale, and an app promo instead of picking one.
- Rolling announcements — a few short updates that share the top strip.
- Space-saving — when you want several messages but only one thin bar.
Add it to an action
In a Popup action, choose Rotating Announcement Bar. Set the preset and transition, then fill in the messages. Messages 1 and 2 are on by default; turn on Messages 3–5 in their sections when you need them.
Editing messages
Each message has its own Text and an optional Link — when a link is set, the whole message becomes clickable. Turn messages on or off with the Show Message toggle in each section; the bar rotates through however many are active. With only one message on, it simply stays put.
Rotation & navigation
Messages rotate automatically (set Rotate Every in Style). The dots let visitors jump between messages and reset the timer. The Transition setting picks how messages change: fade (crossfade) or slide (slide up). Dots can be turned off in the Navigation section.
Settings
- Preset — bold, dark, light, brand, or success.
- Transition — fade or slide.
- Size — compact, default, or spacious.
- Rotate Every — seconds each message is shown.
- Navigation — show or hide the dots.
- Close Button — uses the standard Personyze close button; its style is editable, and visibility can be always or on hover.
Tips
- Keep each message to one short line so it fits on mobile.
- Only add links where the message is genuinely clickable — a mix of linked and non-linked messages is fine.
- For a full banner with images and headlines instead of a thin strip, use the Hero Slider.
