Sending Reviews to Review Platforms, and Platform Invitations

What each review platform can take from your Review Form - the review itself, or an invitation to the customer - and the rules Personyze always follows.

2 min read Updated 2 hours ago

A review collected by your Review Form can also go to a review platform: sent there as a review, or turned into the platform’s own invitation to the customer. You choose this in the form’s Where the reviews go step, where each connected platform offers what its API and its rules allow. Platforms not connected yet are listed in one line with a link to connect them (Connecting review platforms).

What each platform takes

Platform Send the review Invite the customer
Judge.me Yes (product reviews) Yes (buyers of the product)
Yotpo Yes (product reviews; Yotpo emails the reviewer to verify) Yes
Stamped Yes (product reviews) Yes
REVIEWS.io Yes (product reviews) Yes
Senja Yes (testimonials about the business, held for approval) Yes
Testimonial.to Yes (testimonials, held for approval) Yes
Trustpilot No — Trustpilot takes no reviews written elsewhere Yes (needs the Invitations block)
Trusted Shops No Yes, only for customers who ticked the opt-in checkbox
Feefo, eKomi, Shopper Approved, Kiyoh, Klantenvertellen, TrustMate No — their rules forbid it Yes

Platforms that invite need their Invitations block filled in first — see Invitations.

Rules Personyze always follows

  • The same for every rating. No setting sends or invites by score.
  • A review is sent to a platform once. A platform that cannot delete a review is never sent a duplicate.
  • An invitation goes only to an address the visitor’s profile had before their first review, feedback or survey answer. An address typed into one of your forms never counts. Each visitor (or each product) is invited once.
  • Rows for platforms that invite on their own say: Only if your store does not already send its orders to [platform] — otherwise customers get two requests.
  • A sent review that the nightly import brings back is hidden, so it does not show twice.
  • Send test never sends to a platform.

What happened to a review

Open the review on the Reviews page: its Review platforms section says what was sent, who was invited, or why not — the reasons are listed in Troubleshooting.
